![]() What I didn't realize was the pay version is more restricted than the free version. The cost was about $3k for 3 seats ( free version is unlimited). So naturally when the need arose at work I pushed for purchase of TeamViewer corporate. I love TeamViewer and used it for years to manage my own computers and my families as the families "free help desk". I would recommend that anyone think twice about using them and considering competitors instead. This software may be great for some folks but for me it's been terrible, and instead of a company being kind and supportive to my needs they have been unsupportive, even nasty. I thought I had a good reason for my "delay," but he couldn't have cared less. ![]() I now see many other bad reviews, but too late. I have been unable to get the software to work well after trying, along with my computer consultant, for several years. He would not elevate my request to anyone else, saying he was the "supervisor." Very unsympathetic, argumentative, and unwilling to even consider my plight. I called the company and the rep said it had been 3 months so no cancellation. I am 80 years old and not very good with computer stuff. Only when I returned home did I realize I had subscribed at a cost of almost $500. I was then in SE Asia for 3 months in remote locations doing nonprofit work and out of touch. The website was difficult to use and I ended up accidentally subscribing for a year. On the way to the airport I subscribed to TeamViewer which I had previously used for free. And I will be very glad to add to this review that you do offer refunds in situations such as mine, if you would offer to refund. If someone from Team Viewer would happen to read this, my name is Jim Siegrist. Getting in touch with them by phone is unreasonably difficult if not well nigh impossible. I would say that Team Viewer is a good program, but has more features than I need, and costs more than I can afford. When I contacted them, the emailed back that I had failed to cancel a month before the contract ended, and so was out the money.:>( "Read the fine print", they said! So. But found out that Team Viewer had "automatically" charged me for a second year. Coming to the end of the year, I found another program that met my needs for 10% of the price. So, being between the proverbial "rock and a hard place", I purchased an annual license. Happened to be out of town, and my account was flagged as "commercial". ![]() I used the free version of Team Viewer but ultimately needed to purchase the paid version. I am still working on getting my refund i cant believe i am actually going through all this I would not recommend anyone use them there are better alternatives out there. They have abysmal customer service policies and lack concern for customer satisfaction. Teamviewer as an organisation is uncooperative and inflexible. They are very adamant and refused to refund me for a service I will not use. They see I last used their service a while ago, and my request is sensible. Team Viewer told me they sent me an email reminder 28 days before my subscription ended, which I have yet to receive. I only realized this when I saw my credit card statement. I told them a year was a long time ago, and I don't need this service anymore. I was told I subscribed to their service a year ago. I saw on my credit card statement that £228.96 was deducted from my account by team viewer on an investigation. I used it for approximately 6-8 months and never used it again. I used team viewer for a year based on a subscription that cost me £228.96.
